Crataegus coccinea L. |
Crataegus coccinea (common name, Scarlet Hawthorn) is a species of Hawthorn around which there is considerable confusion because the name has been misapplied for a long time[1]. It has been shown to be the same as C. pedicellata[1], and under the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature, that older name (C. coccinea) should be used.
